Pedestrian Injured in Hit and Run Accident

Bay Point police say that a pedestrian found lying in the street at the intersection of Willow Pass Road and Globe Drive was the victim of a hit-and-run accident. Police have not yet released details about his injuries or condition.

If he is unable to find the driver, and if he has uninsured motorist coverage, the man (or his family if he passes away) can assert an insurance claim against his own policy to compensate him for his personal injuries, loss of wages, medical bills and pain & suffering.
